Webinar Connectivity Instructions

What you need to attend: Through webinar technology, you can virtually attend a class with a member of our technical staff without leaving your office. In order to attend this webinar, you will need 1) an internet connection and 2) a telephone OR mic and speakers on your computer.

The cost is $130 for the first connection and $75 each connection thereafter. This will be billed on your next Bromelkamp Company invoice*.

*PLEASE NOTE: As indicated on the Pearl Learning Webniars schedule page, certain webinars are free of charge.  You will not be billed for these webinars.

 

How to participate in the Pearl Learning webinar series: 

1. Before the Webinar
We do not require pre-registration for our webinars. However, since attendance at all webinars is limited to 25, we do recommend that you pre-register--particularly for our free webinars which often attract many attendees. (If you are unable to register for a webinar due to closed registration, please email
lindsey@bromelkamp.com. With sufficient demand, we may be able to add additional session(s), and recordings of all webinars are available afterwards as well.)

 

When you register, you'll receive a registration confirmation email from our online conference service provider GoTo Training.
This email includes:
  • Materials to review before the session (often only a photo/bio of presenter)
  • A link to join the session (unique to you and not to be shared)
  • A link to add the session to your calendar (does not work with web-based calendars)
  • Information about audio options
  • The session Training ID (a 9-digit number unique to that session)

Most attendees will be able to join the webinar easily without any change to their current system configuration. Click the link to View System Requirements.

 

2. Joining the Webinar
We request that attendees log-in to the webinar 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. If this is the first time you have attended one of our webinars using GoTo Training, we suggest that you log in 10 minutes prior to start time to allow for any techincal issues that may arise. This is important so that the session can start and end on time.

To log in to the webinar:

  • Click on the link provided in your registration confirmation email (you will need to register if you haven't already).
  • OR if you clicked the link Add to Calendar on your confirmation email, click on the link in your calendar appointment
  • OR go to www.joinmeeting.com and enter your email address and the session ID (available from confirmation email or contact Bromelkamp Company).

3. Audio Connection
To connect to audio, choose one of the following audio options:

TO USE YOUR COMPUTER'S AUDIO:
Select "Use Mic & Speakers" after joining the training. A USB headset connected to your computer is recommended. If you choose mic and speakers and are not using a USB headset, we request that you listen to webinar with headphones to avoid audio feedback on the line. Click on the link for more information about Using Mic & Speakers

TO USE YOUR TELEPHONE:

  1. Dial the toll-free number: provided upon registration and listed on your attendee control panel
  2. Enter the Access Code: a 9-digit code unique to that session, provided upon registration and listed on the conrol panel.
  3.  Enter your Audio PIN: a code unique to you listed on the control panel

 

4. Use the Control Panel
Your attendee control panel allows you to do perform several functions during the webinar such as:

  • Choose an audio option
  • Send a chat
  • Raise your hand
  • Mute yourself
  • View/collapse fullscreen mode
  • Hide/expand the control panel

Click on the links to familiarize yourself with the viewer window and control panel for a PC or for a Mac.

 

5. After the Webinar
After the webinar, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access a recording of the session, the slide deck from the session, and any other session materials.
