Bromelkamp Company was founded in 1978 by Henry A. Bromelkamp. He created a database for tracking grants made by a local grantmaker. Many of his client's colleagues saw and admired the database. Requests for the software arrived, and the company was born.

It is a large Victorian rowhouse, (shown below) in the process of being restored to its original splendor.
