Geographic Focus
While Bromelkamp Foundation will consider applications from non-profit organizations for projects serving the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, our primary focus will be in those neighborhoods in which Bromelkamp Company employees reside. These currently include Downtown Minneapolis, South Minneapolis, Longfellow, Maple Grove, New Hope, Fridley/Columbia Heights and St. Paul.
Technical Assistance Grants
In addition to monetary grants, Bromelkamp foundation is now making available Technical Assistance grants. These are in-kind donations of our technical services such as training and support of the Microsoft Office suite of products (including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access). This help should be limited in scope (approximately 7-10 hours of work) and not project work or ongoing technical issues.
Before submitting an application for a Technical Assistance grant, we strongly encourage you to call and discuss your project with our grants manager, Bridget. She can help determine if the proposal is within the scope of our guidelines.
Group Volunteer Event
Bromelkamp foundation is also offering a group volunteer event grant. The grant consists of a single event in which the staff of 10 will volunteer a block of time (2-3 hours) to assist an organization. Examples of projects the company has worked on in the past are: organizing and shelving donations given to a food shelf, and singing Christmas carols at a nursing home.
